渡久地は、沖縄本島北部、本部町の西の海岸沿いに位置する。渡久地は、本部町の中心地である。渡久地へは、那覇から車で沖縄自動車道を通って約１時間40分、名護市内からは約25分かかる。観光地として、もとぶ町営市場が有名である。令和元（2019）年12月末時点での渡久地の人口は1160人である（本部町役場HPより）。
Toguchi or Tuguchi is located along the western coastline of Motobu Town in northern Okinawa Island. It serves as the central area of Motobu Town. By car, it takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from Naha via the Okinawa Expressway and about 25 minutes from Nago City. As a tourist destination, the Motobu Town Municipal Market is well-known. As of the end of December 2019 (Reiwa 1), Toguchi had a population of 1,160 people (according to the Motobu Town Office website).”
